Hello There!

My love for the outdoors was kindled at the age of 6 while rafting down the emerald waters of Ganga with my father. It is a passion that has never flagged since. By the time I was 17, I had climbed a number of high-altitude peaks; completed a cycling trip from Dehradun to Manali; participated in a few vintage car rallies, was part of a team that built a go-cart from a 75CC motor bike and twice earned the International Award for Young People (IAYP) Gold award.

Since school, I have designed and led expedition for young adults, bicycled from Seattle to San Francisco 8 times and trained a community of about 450 outdoor instructors in India. In total, I have spent nearly 2 decades as an outdoor educator and facilitator and nearly all my life as a partaker. This has allowed me to recognise the transformative power of wilderness. My mission is to create a ripple effect of responsible transformation, where individuals are not only empowered but are also galvanised to make a difference in their communities, whether it be schools, workplaces, their personal lives or to society at large.

I have done my post-graduate studies in Outdoor and Environmental Education from the La Trobe University in Australia. I am also trained in designing and implementing adventure-based counselling workshops from Project Adventure Inc., USA. I have worked as a facilitator in a number of countries including India, USA, Australia, Vietnam as well as an assistant lecturer for the graduate programme at La Trobe University, Australia.
