I have a Master's degree in Social Work Counseling as well as a Master's in Psychology. I began my career as a therapist. However, my journey took an unexpected turn when I ventured into the world of outdoor with a remarkable trek to the Siachen glacier. The ignited a love for the outdoors and I did my Basic Mountaineering, Advance Mountaineering, and Search and Rescue Mountaineering courses, consistently earning A grades in each. My passion for the mountains went beyond mere technical skills. I delved into Experiential Education and discovered a sense of peace and fulfillment in a minimalist lifestyle. Alongside my degrees and courses in mountaineering, I also have also done certificate courses in therapeutic counseling and Experiential Education.

I have led expeditions to various challenging destinations. This included leading an all-women US expedition in Zanskar Valley, venturing to the Virgin Peak, and even leading all-men expeditions. My approach has always centered around the principle of "challenge by choice," where individuals willingly take on high-altitude treks in challenging terrains, spanning from Ladakh to Uttarakhand, across the majestic Himalayas.
